The Poe Saga is our current long-term project, combining film, spectacular dance theatre and outreach and Fragments of Poe is the touring precursor to it. An intriguing “utterly brilliant” evening of dance and film that wets the appetite with pre or post show discussions. It premiered at Durham Fringe Festival, July 25th and is suitable for traditional and non traditional settings. small venues, festivals , book nights and Hallow’een!

Dora Frankel: Exploring a Tapestry of Senses, Places and Memories

Artistic Director Dora Frankel Ensemble, Artistic Director Emeritus Fertile Ground

Dora Frankel trained at Rambert School of Ballet 1967-71 and later, as choreologist at Benesh International, London. She joined Rambert Company as choreologist, also performing in Cruel Garden chor. Christopher Bruce, among other works. During her 53 year career here and abroad, mainly America and Scandinavia, she has combined choreography and dance and theatre performance with education and outreach work, including most notably, the design and leadership of Angered Gymnasium’s dance programme(s) in Gothenburg, Sweden.
